Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator is responsible for administering and maintaining all Market Track Information systems and related equipment and services, including and without limitation to the following:

  • workstations
  • servers
  • phones
  • operational software
  • information backup
  • corporate and sales software
  • security hardware and software
  • telecom services
  • scanners
  • AC units

The Systems Administrator will also be responsible for providing support to internal and client users.


  • Network and software administration
  • Backup, disaster recovery/business continuity
  • System Security
  • Equipment Administration
  • Installation and Configuration of Software and Systems
  • End User Support
  • Technology services and vendors
  • Knowledge Transfer and Continuous Improvement
  • After hours and Weekend Support Call

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent technical qualification


  • 2 Years in managing Systems and/or Network.

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage Active Directory/DNS/Wins/DHCP
  • Ease in setting up and managing Workstation/Laptop/Servers
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well on a team as well as independently
  • Microsoft Certification a plus


  • Maintaining and monitoring firewalls
  • Hardware firmware and Driver checks
  • Maintaining image libraries
  • Anti-Virus updates, patches, license monitoring
  • Monitor performance, events, disk space, and services
  • OS Reloads, RAID Checks, memory checks, server room maintenance
  • Microsoft and Other Provider Patches/Updates
